Easy Outfit Planning
Take these steps to ensure the perfect photo!
Use the same outfit as planned for the first day of school to alleviate the pressure of scrambling with what to wear.
Dress your child in solid, brights colors and try to avoid shirts with large graphics.
Fun School Props
At Hatch Photography, each photoshoot will offer fun props including a desk, globe, pencils, and books. Bring your child's new backpack to give that school-ready feeling. School signs are always a great addition filled out with your child's name, grade, date and favorite things!
Hair Style Tips
Try a trendy hairstyle for elementary school girls with dutch braids. Braid the hair starting at the top of the head to the center leaving loose hair to flow around the nape of the neck. Loose curls or leaving it natural is always beautiful. Use hairspray on dutch braids to keep flyways at bay. Other simple girl hairstyles include pigtails, ponytails or French braids. Here's a quick tutorial on braids. For boys, try using hair product such as hairspray or gel and run a comb through it ensure their hair is picture perfect when you arrive.
About Your Mini-Session
School is starting as early as August 11th and that means earlier dates for shoots. Mini-sessions can be scheduled August 6-8, 2021! If you want a full session, we can pick a date and time at your location of choice in Tallahassee, Crawfordville, or Thomasville areas. The mini-sessions will be $185 and include 5 digital prints edited to perfection for sharing with all your friends and family, delivered via online gallery no later than August 10th.
